farcry 6 low gpu usage

hey all

 

i installed farcry 6 and im getting low fps no metter the quality im choosing

 

on nvidia softare its show that the gpu only using 250w and 99% of the gpu power

the card is 3090ti

 

what do you guys think is the problem

High setting no ray tracing no hd pack

between 50-60 1440p

Do you have the AMD-sort of-specific features turned off? I think one of them is called FSR and the other feature is near it.

 

Did you try turning everything off or set to low to check your baseline FPS? Leave resolution set to 1440p.

didnt change the fps

Check the in game frame limiter. Check the frame limiter in the GeForce app… global and FC6 specific. Vsync? Reinstall drivers.

 

just a few suggestions.  You may have tried these already.

Same issue. 40% utilization on a 10700k and mid 40s on a 1080ti. While I start around 60fps I keep dropping to mid 20s fps within the first 10 seconds. It's like frame limiter is on when it isn't. Settings at ultra or low make no difference. FSR makes no difference. Running as admin makes no difference. What a horribly programmed game. 

 

Alt>tabbing out of the game creates a stutter so even moving the mouse around is a challenge. There's something really clunky with this steaming pile of crap.
