i have a ryzen 9 5950x cooled by a cooler master 360mm AIO. the chip reaches 90 degrees celsius which is the max temp limit of the chip as of when i checked in ryzen master. i have removed the plastic cover from under the cold plate and have applied thermal paste multiple times. there is still no difference. the ambient temp is 36 degrees celsius. is there any thing else i can do ?

What AIO you got? Have you checked the bracket for the Cooler is tight? (the one mounted on the motherboard). If your AIO is old, the design for the cold plate might be optimized for older CPUs.

Nothing you can do. Don’t bench hard with high ambients, get a portable ac unit. 35c ambient is hot as fuck.

Overlooked that you got 36c ambient. Thats pretty hot. You could get a better cooler. Maybe consider getting something like the Liquid freezer II 360. Overall better and more silent, performs very good:

It’s 20c out right now, a beautiful morning.. but that will change later as the temp is supposed to climb to 31 feels like 37. It’s going to be hot as balls at work, I’m there now and it already is ugh. At my apartment my old computer lived in the 30s all summer.. it ran fine it just got extra warm 😄
