I have an old MSI Z170A PC MATE Motherboard
With a 6600k in it.
And i also have a NMVe SSD in said motherboards M.2 Slot.

In the Intel Spec Sheet, it says that the CPU only has 16 PCIe lanes, so.
Does that now mean that my GPU slot is running at 8 lanes instead of 16? Since 4 of the lanes are being used by the SSD?

You can check how many PCIe lanes your GPU is using in GPU-Z under ''bus interface''.

SATA1~2 ports will be unavailable when installing the M.2 SATA interface module in M.2 slot. SATA3~4 ports will be unavailable when installing the M.2 PCIe interface module in M.2 slot

i dont see a PCI lane drop but if you have sata drives in they might not work

CPU = Intel i9-9900ks , Mobo = ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero (Wi-Fi) Z390 , Ram = HyperX Predator Black 64GB kit 3333MHz DDR4 CL16 DIMM XMP ,

Ah i see. I thought this just told what PCIe interface the card can use, not which one its currently using.

It does both. To the left is what your card can use. And right is what's it currently using.
