Live Local Tv On a Shield?

Hi, I just got a Shield Tv (not pro) and I'm wondering how to watch live local channels on it. What is the cheapest way of doing it and how? Thanks!

The cheapest method up-front is to subscribe to an OTT streaming service that carries local channels, like YouTube TV or Sling TV.

 

If you'd rather use owned equipment, then you'd need something like an HDHomeRun or Tablo.

 

If you want the absolute cheapest route, and don't want a DVR or trick play features, hook an antenna to your TV and press the "Input" button.
