should I be worried about these temps?

I overclocked while it was cold here where I'm at, now the weather is pretty hot outside could that be why my CPU temps went up? Should I bring the OC down or no? It's currently at 4.0 GHz from it's stock 3.5GHz

77c while just having chrome and LoL launcher open on a FX CPU? Yes.

77 is the max reached and all cores were at 100% so no.

here temps while in game, ive been using the pc like this for months idk if i damaged the cpu with it

You should bring it to lower temps in the event that ambient temps get higher to help with the CPU temp.

Basically yeah, lower the OC during hot days, physics can only go so far.

Regarding the physics. If the ambient temperature increases by 1°C, then the temperature of your CPU will increase by 1°C (plus a very small amount due to increased resistivity with increased temperature).

 

So say your max CPU temp is 65°C with an ambient temp of 20°C. If the ambient temp is increased to 25°C then the max CPU temp will be ~70°C.

Considering the max temp recommended is 75c I don't think these are fine.

arctic cooler its not the stock one, a bit better than the stock one. What software can I use to adjust cpu cooler fan speed?

Idle temperatures dont mean much if anything. Again, use hwinfo, not hwmon.

 

Play games and keep monitoring or run a stress test like prime95.
