need new chair..

well i did get a new chair but its the worst chair moeny can but the post has plastic on plastic so it squeaks like a day later i put it together... so looking for people that got a chair and like it.

 

dose not have to be a "gaming" chair can be desk or office.

 

wheels

armrest

height adjustable

tilt

fabric or "leather" dose not matter as long as its durable last one i had was leather only reason to replace it was holes in the seat and phome turned green... and the post dose grind a bit but not squeaking

 

height 5 10 295 pounds...

 

any ideas would be help full thx

You can do a search of this subforum for other chair recommendations, particularly ergonomic office chairs. But for what it's worth, I've enjoyed my Secretlab Titan SoftWeave chairs, have owned two of them. They're not racing style like the Omega line, and quality is better than what I used to get for basic office chairs, $100-150 at Staples and Office Depot. The Titan is going to run you $500+, so many on the forum will recommend true ergonomic chairs instead of any labeled "gaming" chairs.

 

This is the video that gets posted a lot, if you want some other options. But some of the recommendations are even more expensive than the Titan, so

I always recommend looking for 400-600lbs chairs.  If it's designed to withstand twice your body weight, it should hold up just fine.

 

Also, get a Purple Ultimate Seat Cushion.  These things can make wood bleachers comfortable.

Ihad an DXracer for years and cant recommend it at all racing chairs are just to cheap. Now i own an Secretlab 2022 series and i am more than happy with it. It is by no means an chair for everyone but he got everything i wanted generally office chairs are much better but i just cant live without the adjustable backrest.
