660ti vs 760?

Dubesta11

Kinda weird how you completely changed your opinion from one replay to the next.

No I didn't... I was saying that it was a good card and that a 780 would be the best upgrade.

Your first reply said "No. The bare minimum upgrade I could recommend is a 780. But if the 800 series is ever released, I would hold on and wait for it." I mean I am sure you think the 660ti is a fine card but it's just kinda funny how you first said "No. Get a 780 for an upgrade" and the second replay is "660ti is a good card and the best price/performance for him" and I just find it funny for the 360 turn around in idea. What changed your mind?

I must have been tired and worded something wrong. My bad. :P

They're pretty much the same, I'd frankly save a more load of money and get a 770. If you can't aim to that price then get the 660 ti since its cheaper and offers pretty much the same performance.

The 660 ti is a great card for that price! I used an overclocked reference 660 ti at 2560x1440 and got a solid 60 frames in BF4 with AA turned off and all settings set to high/medium(on lighting and effects) and the scaling at 90. Beast card. If i were on a strict budget, i'd gladly sell my 780 and go back to a 660 ti.

I've got a couple 3 GB 660tis and they destroy every game I play at 1440p :) fluid 60+ fps in bf4 maxed out! I do have golden chips though, with no manual overclocking gpu boost runs one of them at 1370 mhz on the core and 1420 mHz on the other. 660ti is an awesome card!
