PCPP said I was around 643W of power, but I just went with an 850W power supply in case I missed something.

The 850W Gold unit you have there will be fine, however with a 3090 I would probably just go 900-1000W. Transient spikes may cause issues with shutdowns at high loads.

Something to note as well is that the specific PSU you selected will only come with 2 PCIE cables, so you may need to buy an extra. However you'll be fine temporarily using the daisy-chain cables to saturate all three 8-pin PCIE connectors on the 3090.

The final machine set up.

It's not everything I want, but it is more than enough for what I want to do with it.

I also switched to an AIO after the sticker on the 5950X said "Liquid Cooling Recommended" and after getting nagged by everyone to do AIO, I decided to do it, but on my terms.

Almost all the RGB components (save for the RAM and GPU) are Corsair as is the case and the PSU.  PCPP said I was around 643W of power, but I just went with an 850W power supply in case I missed something.

I'm probably going to have to sell some other things I bought on eBay later, not because I spent a lot of money on this build but because some things like the monitors I have with a 75Hz refresh rate for my home office were short sighted considering the specs I have for graphics. (I might want to upgrade to something in triple digits.)

At any rate, I'm done for the day.  One part doesn't show up until August 5th. Take a guess as which one it is.

Is it running yet or not? I heavily suggest returning the board, it will very likely struggle to run dual rank even at slow 3600mhz, reason is asus garbage ram topology on b550 and x570, ive even seen a thread awhile back where someone couldnt get their rams to 3800 on this board and any decent ic like cjr or djr can do 3800 with ease

You are prob better off with a board like the x570 aorus master, much better ram topology and should not struggle to run 4x16 dual rank or even quad rank if you get unlucky enough to get dual sided sticks (dual rank -> quad rank has no performance benifit but much heavyier on the board and imc to run)

Btw you got ripped off on ram, its garbage 16-19-19 and not the proper 16-16-16 bdie stuff, could have just gotten 3600 cl18 and tightened the timings, but cas latency doesnt matter much anyways, its the subtimings that matter for performamce (ex trfc, sr dr dd, twr, etc.)
