Question very simple (the answer might not be),

I have read that Adata made some changes when it comes to the SX8200 Pro

So, my question, do you know what version is the Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 512GB M.2 NVMe?

I've been searching everywhere but i can't seem to find it.

Its either v1, v2, v3, v4 or v5. Performance is usually pretty much the same with tiny differences.

You can't tell what version you have, until you've already bought it. That's what makes it extra scummy.

Anecdotal, I also had one (bought before the different variants came to light) fail in under 6 months, and I'm not the only one.

Just get a different drive.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

That sucks....

But are you refering to all Adata SDDs or just the SX8200? Because the review are great when it comes to Adata drives.

But, i'm not tied to it, i was just wondering about the all different version on the SX8200.

I am referring to specifically the SX 8200 Pro.

However, I wouldn't buy any drive from Adata now, impossible to trust their products after such antics.
