laptop crashing? i think?

Turn off sleep and see if it works,

Maybe it has a hard time sleeping or the display sleeping.

i was downloading a game so i left my laptop on for a while (30 mins probably) and when i came back my screen was off but keyboard backlight was on and my mouse was not working. no amount of input made my screen come back on. i forced a restart and everything was back to normal. Then i left it on again thinking it was just a fluke. But when i came back it had the same issue. there were no reliability reports. what is going on?
