bottleneck between CPU and GPU

Hello everyone i've hot a problem. I've got a amd r9 290 anf tri-x and a amd fx- 8320 and i think im dealing with a bottleneck. My gpu only starts doing something wheb i play battlefield 4 and all the other games i play my cpu runs it and i can't find that works i tried to disable some of my core's but that didn't help to i could really use some help!

Battlefield 4 is very CPU intensive. You're probably not bottlenecking, just experiencing some difficulties, that are pretty regular with AMD Cpu's.

Of course your GPU only is being used while playing games.

FX series of processors don't have integrated graphics. There is no way your games are running on solely your processor.

I mean like if i play games like leauge of legends or cod or something i dont get the maximum amount of fps and if i look to the activity of my gpu it says 0 % and if i look to my cpu it says like 60% so ?

It is impossible to have zero GPU utilization even on the original GLQuake.

That's what it says in amd control center. And the tempreture of my gpu won't increase while im playing

can you post some screenshots? preferably from msi afterburner, showing both the CPU and the GPU usage? The R9 290 is a very powerful GPU, so if you have Vsync enabled in many games, the GPU usage will often not be at 100%, but it is impossible for your CPU to be running the games by itself. What games are we talking about, besides BF4? What's the FPS?

well then I would suggest that AMD CC is bugged. I will also suggest you use a different program to monitor cpu usage.

Do you have any form of AMD drivers installed?

What are you monitoring usage with in game?

I installed the latest drivers of amd and i only play bf4 as fps but the games i play are not that much of high graphic games so have to need a minimum fps of 120 and i only got 60 thats the weird thing and if i set the graphics lower like from ultra to hard it stays on 60 while i have fps limit on unlimited ?

And the fps in bf4 on ultra is around 80 and thats the only game where is see my GPU is doing something
