Does the MSI H510m-A-Pro power throttle the I5-11400f (Repost)

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

It will only throttle if the VRMs get too hot. Since the 11400 is a 65w chip, you should have no problems as long as you have decent case air flow.

My original post didn't get an answer so I will just repost it.

I was originally going to get a I3-12100f and MSI Pro b660m-A DDR4 but the cpu is out of stock where I'm from, I didn't get the cpu and mobo combo since it's either a h610m board or the low power gigabyte b660m.

I can't go Ryzen even the 4 core cpu's both the cpu and mobos are more expensive than Intel's.

I Squezed my budget to the last dollar so I can't get the b560m boards.
