Micro SD front panel mount

dLife_dt

I'm not sure if this exists, or what terms/places to use to find it, but I'd like to get a small front panel mount that has a micro sd reader and on the other end connects to the MB. IE something just like this but with only 1 cable and the microsd reader instead of the USB port. (my itx case doesn't accommodate anything larger)

Thanks so much for any leads!!

Awesome! Do you know roughly what speeds to expect? I'm transferring 4k footage from drone...

that one is USB 2 so it would max about at ~20MB/s. You would need a UHS-I/UHS-II reader for faster speeds (assuming your SD card is UHS-I/UHS-II)

I don't see an internal USB 3.0 to SD card reader but I did find a 3.5" mountable multi reader thing:

why no dark mode?

I have a sabrent one of those in USB 2.0 format, and it works well enough for the occasional use I have for it, but for 4k video, I think you might need to look into something that can use a USB port on the rig and connect directly that way.
