Cheapest slow m.2 storage for mini home media PC

Budget (including currency): £300

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Plex media server

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 

I have a Mini PC on order for hopefully a lightweight plex media install. It has space for 2 m.2 drives which I would like to populate with the cheapest bulk storage. I don't mind how slow it is (to a certain degree). I just want the cheapest bulk storage in a small package.

 

It may be worthwhile finding a large sata SSD and hooking that up via USB but I would like peoples recommendations
