Is it compatible? Yes.

Should you buy this? NO.

For $500 you can get the 12700F, a much faster CPU in every possible way. For $10 more you can get a better, 850W PSU. A 3070 Ti is not $300 better than a 3070. $1150 for a 3070 Ti is eerily close to 3080 territory, a noticeably faster card. Also, get a Windows 10/11 key from a key seller for $20-30.

Any way to get the same motherboard with a wi-fi card/adapter?

Would it be possible to change the case to something like the Corsair icue 4000x or the Asus tuf gaming gt301?

You mean the original motherboard you selected? No, they're two different sockets and not compatible. If you need WiFi, you can change out the motherboard for something else like the B660M Aorus Pro AX.

If you want to change out the case, yeah you can, just figured you might as well save $20 going with this. Wouldn't recommend the 4000X though, the 4000D Airflow is cheaper and performs better.

With the motherboard I meant the one you picked out lmao, sorry for confusion

Where would you recommend buying an os key from and how exactly do they work?

There's a lot of different key resellers out there, just try and find an OEM key from somewhere. Kinguin was where I got my keys the last time I actually got my key (like 5 years ago, I've been just running with the watermark since I upgraded), though haven't done much research since, again, I haven't actually cared enough to spend that $20 on a key in like 5 years, I just know that it is still possible.

They work just like regular Windows keys work, when it asks you if you want to activate Windows, you put in that key, and it's activated. Unfortunately, it doesn't let you transfer that key from one system to another, so you need to buy a new one each time you upgrade, but even if you need to buy 3 of them every time you upgrade, you still save money in the long run. Also, Windows 10 keys work on Windows 11, so just get whichever is cheaper (usually it's Windows 10).

Hell even a 12400 would be better and this person may be picking the 11700k because its cheaper than the 12700kf.  Literally any 12 gen intel cpu is gonna be faster, so don't get too hung up on the 'i7' label, as if a buyer doesn't know about changing skus and cores speeds, this kinda thing may manifest.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.
