Restarting Randomly

Hey guys, my recently built pc has been restarting randomly. 1st time when I try to boot up Genshin Impact, 2nd when I was exiting Elden Ring, 3rd was when I was unplugging my gamepad to get it out of the way, and the 4th and 5th just happen now when I try to start up Lost Ark to grab my stuff before it expires. 1, 2 and 3 happen in the span of a week, while 4 and 5 just happen now back to back. It really help if I can fix this.

I do not have a screenshot for GPU load, but temp idles around 61-67 during Elden Ring or Genshin Impact.

 

I do have a screenshot for CPU load, but not sure how to attach it. Using Prime95 15min all 6 were under 100% while my temp was 57-58, and 75-76w.

Imediate restarts are usually due to power issues.
Might be worth it to replace that PSU for a better one.

The PSU tier list could help. (Altho its alittle bit older and newest devices might not show up).

@HanZie82 The restart doesn't happen often, and I just got into lost ark fine the 3rd time. Do you think 800 or 850 be okay? You can wait as long as you can stand the restarts.
Or maybe you're able to 'underclock' the GPU a little bit, it might help. But also reduces performance.
The restart is most likely a 'safety-feature' to not overstress the hardware. But im not 100% sure.

As for the PSU's you linked both are good. But a good 750, or maybe even less would suffice.
That PSU isnt the best. afaik.

What would be a good budget one on Amazon? I was planning on a getting 1k one for future proof. I know I won't ever go pass a 3070 ti at most.

Afaik its recommended for the 3070Ti to have a 750W PSU, but ive seen posts from ppl that do fine with 650W.

It just depends on how dependable that amounts of Watts is. A good quality PSU holds up way better.
Getting one of those 2 is fine, but you might be able to save some money getting a good 750Watt PSU.

@HanZie82 Wrong solution selected. If a 3070ti is okay with 650w why is my 3060ti struggling w/ a 650? Pc is so confusing.

Its ok, you should be able to remove the solution mark.

Im guesisng that 650Watt PSU you have isnt the greatest, and thus struggles when you demand some performance from it.
Im pretty sure if that 3060 already struggles getting a 3070 wont be any better.

One 650W PSU isnt the same as another 650W.
And afaik they can wear out a little over time, making it so hardware that ran fine cant anymore.
But im not to sure about that, there are others that are way more knowledgeable about PSUs.

Yeah I just ended up getting a Corsair rm850x, it is gold on the list. Thanks for helping, hopefully this is the solution to my random restart, if not I'll probably be back.

But i do hope that its not because of issues.

But like i said, im not the end all to problem solving. There might be other options.
