Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Overwatch and drawing

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I do have a pcpartpicker list and i wanted someone to look at it to see if its good. here is the link https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xD3PXy

  • The included AMD CPU cooler works and lets the CPU fully turbo but it's going to run hot and loud. I'd seriously consider a budget tower cooler, just check the height compared to your case.
  • Motherboard is way too expensive for that CPU. It's not even a current gen or an X series model for that price. Is there a very specific feature you need on that board?
  • Do you have any other storage? If Overwatch is your only game and you don't use much space for drawing you'll technically be ok, but personally I'd add either a HDD (if you plan on keeping lots of drawing/media files) or upgrading to a 1TB SSD. Having an SSD 90% is bad for performance.
  • PSU is overkill unless you are planning on upgrading to a 3080 or want to use it on a future Threadripper build. RMx is a good model but drop 200W.
  • Unless the case doesn't have fans at all you'd get better temps spending the money on a cheap tower cooler.
  • Speaking of, where is the case? (and no mouse since you are including keyboard and headset)

TL;DR; go with a $40 cheaper PSU and drop at least $100 from the motherboard (you can drop $150 and still be getting a reasonable board for that CPU). Spend the money on a better CPU cooler and an upgraded SSD.

Alternatively you could go Intel with a 12400F (basically the same performance, slightly lower price) with a reasonably priced B660 board.

Your SSD and motherboard are overpriced, and the GPU probably too. Also you have no case.

This would be a lot better:https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Pcbuild12123/saved/#view=xwgQdC since it has a more upgradable Intel 12th gen chip and a 3070 ti along with a 4000d airflow

That's a decent list, but the stock cooler for Intel is crap. And it doesn't include peripherals either. So they'll need to cut about $300 off for the peripherals and cooler

It doesn't really matter.  Intel has some better options for ultra low budget, but AMD has better cheap boards so cost flattens out if your getting a hexacore with a basic board.  I like @Somerandomtechyboi's parts list for cost, as it'll get you the best GPU you can get, and that Zalman S2 has preinstalled fans, which is a huge cost cutter that a lot of cases don't do anymore.  The Apevia legend does this as well if you don't like the look of the Zalman S2.  The Gammax cooler is also sufficient and will cool about the same as more expensive coolers but it's only $20.  IDK about neo RAM, I'm always superstitious about RAM and usually default to corsair, crucial or g. skill, but I'm no expert.

Really your GPU and monitor should be the biggest budget items, the rest just has to support it so breaking the bank anywhere else is just draining your gamer juice.  I also am a big proponet of getting nice peripherals and a nice chair, as those things actually impact your gaming experience WAY more than your CPU being 2 degrees cooler or RAM having LEDs on it.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

Neo is pretty much guaranteed djr for all i know, lets just say given enough voltage (upto 1.7v) or good enough bin theyll do some ludicrous speed (4400+ cl19), look at neo forza 5000 cl19 kit, its also hynix djr but ofc higher binned version

Only reason corsair would be better is garbage b die but unless you run 1.7v through it im pretty sure garbage b die will still lose to 4600+ cl19 djrs, gskill out of the question due to price, even rgb pro is better value considering trash b die

Micron would be the best pick since oced ballistix does anywhere from lazy oc 4000 cl16 1.5v to 4600-5000 cl18 ~1.6v, it will crush trash b die at 4600+ speeds
