GTX 1660S able to run 240hz?

I am looking to buy a new monitor which is 240hz (the BenQ Zowie XL2546K), but i am getting an average of 180-200fps in-game. GPU: gtx 1600S, CPU: i7-7700.

So should i consider buying 165hz instead of 240hz as i am not getting avg 240fps? as i can get 165hz literally half of the price, so it keeps me thinking.

So please suggest me what should i do, also i have to plan to play esports in-near future. Thanks!

Mainly for Valorant.

200fps should be high enough to not see screen tearing when running below the refresh rate of your monitor AFAIK, and a CPU upgrade later down the line should easily take you to the 240Hz mark, so if you're considering hardcore high refresh stuff, I'd get the 240 now. Hell if you run into screen tearing you can drop the refresh rate of the monitor itself (I have an old monitor I muck with sometimes, it does up to 180Hz, but also has presets for 120 and 144, I assume a 240Hz would have similar). Monitors usually last years so it's cheaper than buying a slower monitor now, then when you eventually upgrade your system, having to buy the monitor you actually wanted anyways.

It can run that monitor but not at 240fps, at most probably 100.
