Will RM750 fit into iCue 220T?

I'm purchasing parts for a new PC build and ran into a potential issue:

I have a Corsair iCue 220T case (mine specifically is the version with glass front panel, but to my knowledge everything else is the same as the Airflow) and am looking to get a Corsair RM750 PSU, but I've heard that this PSU is a non-standard size and might not fit unless I remove the 3.5" HDD trays?

I need to keep the 3.5" trays as I have HDDs that will go in those. I've also heard the RM750X might not have this size issue, but because the RM750 is on sale where I live, there's a pretty significant ($50) price difference. Because of this, I'd really like to know if I can safely pick up the RM750 while it's discounted.
