What's this GPU? Never heard of....

It's a Radeon 280x  ... it consumes up to 210 watts 

You have 60-65w from slot, 150w from pci-e 8 pin, and 75w through the 6 pin ... the extra 6 pin is there to put less "stress" on the pci-e slot power, and to have some spare power in case you want to overclock the card. 

 

Using both connectors on a single cable is fine, it's not a video card that takes 300 watts through both connectors, it barely takes more than 150 watts, so the single cable can handle it just fine.
