Samsung Monitor PSU related Probably

belthagor

Hello everyone. Recently when I turn on my monitor by sliding... The blue light flashes... Slowly at first... Turning on and off... Then rapidly until a consistent blue light power button which is when the screen starts working finally. It takes about half an hour for the screen display to start showing light to specify. Afterwards as of recently.... The same thing but when the blue light is constant the screen shuts off and the same thing happens. Touching the slide does not turn the monitor off while it's blinking but does so when there is a steady blue light.

I tried pulling the power cable and turning the clickable power switch on the back and now absolutely no blue light shows near the slide touch button on the front of the monitor and the display does not turn on. Is my monitor dead? ...Or repairable?

could be a power supply issue, does it use a power brick, or just a power cord?
