One of four things.

You hit a Power limit after doing a few tests.

You hit a thermal limit, doing a  lot of tests on a laptop over and over will push it to its limit and the more testsyou do the worse youll do.

Potentially Background apps, stuff thats running can effect your scores.

If you updated your OS, potentially your power plan changed back to balanced instead of performance.

Run ThrottleStop 9.4.6

https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-throttlestop/

Open up Limit Reasons and watch for any throttling reasons lighting up red. You can also turn on the Log File option so you have a record of CPU performance, temperatures, power consumption and any reasons for throttling. Attach a log file to your next post if you need help understanding it. Post some screenshots of the main ThrottleStop window as well as the FIVR and TPL windows so I can see how your computer is setup.

What laptop model do you have? Some manufacturers will set long term power limits internally which can cause CPU throttling during any long term test or long gaming session. Running some benchmarks back to back might be enough to trigger this type of throttling.

I did some further experimenting, and the problem actually occurs when the laptop is set to "battery saver" mode for the fans and when using the fn + F1 hotkeys to set it to "high performance" mode. Despite high performance being acftivated, ThrottleStop still recognizes the power mode as battery saver and automatically activates the preset battery saver mode on it, thus causing a performance dip.

ThrottleStop does not do something unless you tell it to do something. If you are using other software to control your Windows power plans, do not use those features in ThrottleStop. Do not check the power plan option on the main screen and do not check any of these boxes in the Options window.
