Budget (including currency): £530 GBP

Country: England

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Blender, Photoshop, Opera GX, YouTube, Minecraft WITH SHADERS AND MODS, Fortnite, Warface, Roblox, Discord

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Upgrading from HP ProDesk 60/ G1 SFF with i5 4570, 8GB 1600mhz ram, integrated graphics and 500gb HDD. Runs these games at 1600x900 at 30-40 FPS, at 1080p, runs at 20-30fps most of the time.

Which parts list would be better for running the games listed above quickly at 1080p at AT LEAST a solid 75fps:

Option A-

CPU- i3 12100f

MB- GIGABYTE B660M DS3H DDR4

RAM- Crucial Ballistix 16GB (2x8GB)                DDR4-3200

SSD- Intel 660p 512GB M.2 NVME

GPU- MSI GTX 1650S Gaming X

Case- IONZ Gamer Edition mATX

PSU- Seasonic Core GC 650 80+ Gold

Option B-

CPU- AMD Ryzen 5 5600

MB- GIGABYTE B450M DS3H

RAM- Crucial Ballistix 16GB (2x8GB)                DDR4-3200

SSD- Intel 660p 512GB M.2 NVME

GPU- MSI GTX 1650S Gaming X

Case- IONZ Gamer Edition mATX

PSU- Aerocool Integrator MOD XT                    750W 80+ Bronze

Option B was recommended over Option A by someone on another post, but I wanted a few more opinions too.

Neither!

The case has NO airflow. It's literally sealed in the front this will cause overheating. Get a mesh front case. It's a ripoff of an equally shitty aerocool case.

Are both systems in budget? Just the gpu and cpu in the second one make it go over budget.

System A issues:

Case

Mediocre board (can limit upgrades in the future)

Mediocre ssd normally better ones cost the same

What latency does the memory run at?

Psu is a bit of an older design

System B:

Board is spectacularly bad. Already struggles to even handle a 5600 don't get it

What latency does the memory run at?

Ssd same story

Case bad

Psu is a low end unit don't get it

Either way if I put both systems in pcpartpicker I either cannot find the parts or am well over budget. How much do these actually cost for you?

If you can get a better case, psu and board option 2 is the better one here right now but option A will allow you to upgrade to better parts later.

Ok i really didnt check the god damn psu tier list when making option b and that psu is almost complete garbage, swap it for a diff bronze unit in tier c or higher, it just needs to be cheap and do the job for the moment cause i intended the psu to be a throwaway when you swap platform

Also just buy used, get a used zen2 or even zen3 and get a decent used b450/x470 cause that ds3h is complete garbage and it would basically require a fan on the vrms to even run a 5600

Should've checked the case. It's literally solid front with no gaps :p.

Ok, let me clarify a few things. The IONZ Gamer Edition case comes in two styles: tempered glass front or mesh front. I was referring to the Mesh front version. This case was very highly rated and was recommended by professionals.

Both systems are in budget.

The board and SSD were recommended by many people, including a professional pc builder named ScatterVolt (on YT).

Memory is CL16 for both systems.

The PSU for option A was recommended to me, and is on the mid-tier on the PSU tier list.

The integrated graphics is good enough for Minecraft and Roblox, and it's not worth buying the 1650 (though I assume you're reusing it from the older PC).

In that case, go for a Ryzen 5600 / 5600x and spend more on storage, get a 1 TB SSD or add a 2-3 TB mechanical drive.
