Building my first PC :)

Go to solution Solved by Cr33ps,

Here is the different option, (30 dollars more but more performance)

https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/nZyrrD

What is different:

1. 240mm aio, since the front panel is closed and you want and aio I just changed it to a 240mm one for exhaust because it is cheaper and is all you need.

2. 32gb of  ddr4 3600mhz ram, better speeds for ryzen, more ram if you ever decide on streaming (16gb is totally fine)

3.Cheaper but amazing A tier psu

4.Matching fan with aio

It is 30 dollars more but it has better specs, if you do not like the price just get a 2x8gb kit of ddr4 3600mhz ram

Budget (including currency): ($3,500 AUD) / ($2,600 USD)

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

- Red Dead Redemption 2
- GTA 5
- ARK: Survival Evolved
- The Witcher: Wild Hunt

-  Minecraft

- Valorant

- etc

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

This will be my first ever PC build, so be kind 🙂.

Here is my pc part picker link: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/xcmp2m

I would like to be able to play at a 1080p - 1440p resolution at the minimum.

I don't really know too much about pc building, but I am very excited to take the leap.

I can go above the budget. As a newbie I am a bit overwhelmed by all the info out there, it would be great If I could get some feedback on the parts.

Thanks in advance :).

$2600 USD thats a pretty decent budget

Could recommendation to think about

1 if you get the most commonly sold Hardware the chances of software issues being fixed is higher just a food for thought

2 think about your whole setup not just the hardware example spend all your budget and then realize you dont have a monitor

3rd always have a little money left over for that one issue you run into weather it be a bad cable or a fan head Splitter. There will always be something you will forget when building a PC so dont spend every cent leave an emergency budget to finish the build

Parts list recommendation based off of Gamers Nexus YouTube videos, Paul's Hardware YouTube videos and JAY'S 2cents videos

-12th gen intel i5 (any more than an i5 for gaming you are losing price to fps proformance)

-Asus, evga, msi b660 or value z690 board

-DDR4 because DDR5 is expensive and still lacks alot in stability

-nvme ssd 1tb then like a 4tb hard drive for games

-GPU what ever you can get with the rest of your budget

-PSU (powersupply) recommendation Evga, seasonic, gold or higher rating (good quality Power Supply Plus easier to find cablemod colored PSU cables)

Then the rest fans, cpu cooler, case, are all personal aesthetic choices

1. In Australia Intel cpu's have painful pricing and ryzen is better for the price rn

2. A hdd will not last as long as a nvme ssd and 4tb is a lot a storage

3.The msi mpg psu that I recommended is cheap but is 80+ gold certified and has a 10 year warranty and brands don't mean that much because the quality of the product matters.
