Dropped Laptop Power brick, any cause for concern

OnlyAxolotl

Not sure of the ins and outs of the power bricks or whether a damage done can (no pun) brick your laptop

Omen 15 2022 3070

Dropper the power brick from waist height it landed on not such a nice surface (metal)

Charges and no wiggle on Laptop produced cut-outs.

Is there anything I should test here?

Well as long as it works it should be fine, although if you dislodged something inside youll find out within a few months if it just stops working.

Those bricks are so filled with potting material, it's ridiculous.  If it works, it works.

If it was a knock off non OEM unit I'd be worried something broke loose inside, but the OEM ones are built....like a brick.

If the case is not cracked and it works, you're golden. Don't worry about it.

If the case suffered a crack, throw it away! Even if it still works.

If you are concerned and want piece of mind, measure the output with a voltmeter. The DC output value will be on the brick's label. The output measured on your meter should be very clost to the data label (within 1 volt)
