Budget (including currency): 1600€

Country: IT

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly 1080p gaming, no specific games

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x (349.99€ @ Amazon)

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S (59.90€ @ Amazon)

Motherboard: MSI B550-A PRO (98.99€ @ Amazon)

GPU: XFX Radeon RX 6600 XT Speedster QICK 308 (473€ @ Amazon)

Memory: 2 x 16 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3600 (158.34€ @ Amazon)

Storage: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME SSD (199.99€ @ Amazon)

Case: Haven't chosen one yet, but most likely a mid-tower around 100€

Power Supply: Corsair HX Platinum 850W Fully Modular  (162.99€ @ Amazon)

OS: Windows 10 for most games and Arch Linux for everything else (Win 10 price not included as I'm gonna use a key from an older computer)

I'm most likely gonna be using it with a 1080p 144hz monitor (which I'm not counting in the budget). The reason I opted for an RX 6600 XT is AMD's better support for Linux systems and the lower price of AMD graphics cards right now.

Any suggestions?

A 5600X will be better than the 3700X for gaming.

You can also get by fine with 16GB of RAM instead of 32.

850W is way more wattage than you need unless you plan to upgrade to a way beefier card.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
