I can't really get any faster with a b350 board

i oc my ram to 3600 no issue, and im pretty sure it would go higher if i tried.

ram speed is mostly irrelevant for this test, going from 3200 to 3600 gives like 100-150 points more…

generally RAM speeds are far less important than people think.

fairly high temp limits

and this *is* 100% irrelevant, the only thing Ryzen boost cares about is temps, the lower temps are the higher it clocks…  having a high "temp limit" does nothing because  you want *low* temps at all times.

I just realized my performance was low. I should be getting at least 1000 points higher. Is this normal for having 3200mhz ram? I can't really get any faster with a b350 board. I have pbo with fairly high temp limits and docp enabled but no manual oc.

Did you have anything else running on the system while doing the run?

Also may be hitting a VRM bottleneck on a b350 board. Im having this issue with my x470 board with 3900x my vrm is good for 100Amp max usually see about 95 real world and my chip wanting more power vrm just cannot give it.

VRM bottleneck

possible. i always forget about that since the vrms on my b350m are pretty good… no thottling, ~70c max (cpu) and pulls like 90w which is i think quite high for a 3600 with negative voltage offset.

No. I'm just surprised it would have issues running at 110ish watts, since it has some cooling. I chekc the vrms and the temps are in the mid 60s

I should've listed my board I have a strix b350 f gaming
