1660 or 3060?

I’m looking at a light gaming laptop for my wife. She won’t play more than Minecraft or the sims.

 

should I save money and get 1660 or go for the 3060 laptops?

 

she’s coming off a 2014 MacBook Air, and she’s ready to leave The Mac behind lol

What is your budget? What settings is she going to play at? GTX 1660 Ti laptops are quite good, I have one in mine and I can get 60 FPS with shaders in MC with sodium and Iris shaders installed (Sodium optimizes MC so much more so you get 2x your FPS (yes, that's how unoptimized vanilla MC is) so you can get as many FPS with a shader than you get with none in vanilla minecraft)

ive seen good choices for both cards. At that price Minecraft should play on the highest settings, I assume sims should play on higher on both too? Not sure how stressful sims is
