Bios corrupt on GFs New prebuilt?

Hey everyone,

My girlfriend just got herself a prebuilt from newegg and I think the BIOS is corrupt on it.  It's showing this at boot up

She bought it from newegg.ca  I'm assuming after we contact them they'll get her to package it up and send it back to them.  What are newegg.ca like to deal with compared to newegg.com?

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!

Looks more like gpu/graphics related. Have you tried the obvious such as different cable/reseting the gpu?

yeah we reseated the GPU could be the monitor though it was bought as open box and is already on it's way back for dead pixels (We've ordered another in the mean time)  We'll hook up another monitor tomorrow to test with.  thank you

Does it work otherwise? Display work once booted? If so you may want to try another monitor perhaps the BIOS is just trying to use a resolution / refresh rate not supported by that monitor.

More like graphics card, display output or cable issue. A corrupt BIOS would prevent the system from starting at all.

Turns out it's something to do the DP.  HDMI works fine.  I think it's gonna end up being this open box Monitor we got.  the new one is due in a day or two
