How to play multi ch audio on 3rd party apps on Sony android tv ?

Hello everyone, I connect logitech z506 via converter through optical cable. The problem is only sony stock player can play 5.1ch audio but other 3rd party apps like Mx player, Vlc, Netflix, Amazon & Jellyfin play audio in stereo mode on all 5 speakers. Same thing happened when i connect z906 only stock player passthrough the dts & console light turn on. Also what does Subwoofer options for in Audio output setting? Coz when i turn it on z906 produce extra bass but i am not sure whether it's originally intended to. & isn't Audio Variable option in audio output should change volume via Tv remote also affect on speaker also? Coz mine won't change on both speakers system.
