I have two speakers, which were a part of a Phillips MCD290/98 system that my dad bought in '07.

The system failed, the cd player, cassette player, fm tuner, nothing worked. So we sold it. But the speakers were mint. But now I don't have an amp to run them. Also I don't recognise what connection it uses (classic mid 2000s proprietary shizz).

Please help me find a DAC and amp for them.

Desktop amp, splitter that connects to my pc, wireless or not, it doesn't matter.

Please help me out.

What kind of connectors do they have? Better yet, a picture would help. There is also the option of cutting off the connector and finding a DAC with the clamp connectors.

These are the connectors...

There are two speakers, each having a red one and a blue one

I am not directly recommending this one, but this will give you an idea of what you need. You need something that has the clamp connectors like this one. You can either clamps the wires down directly or solder some connectors on the end. Before doing either, I would cut the wires back and get cleaner copper.

The wattage and such of the speakers might be on the back to give you an ideas of how much power you need.

Honestly, just buy a power amp,
A friend gave me some custom built speakers that I use as the main speakers of a surround setup but when there's a house party or something I've got a 360W class A/B power  amp that drives them like crazy.
