Picking 1440p monitor help

Hello, so I'm looking at monitors to pair with a planned gpu upgrade in the near future as prices are finally falling. From the research I've done it seems that the best 1440p monitors on the market are the Samsung G7 and the MSI Quantum Dot one (long name, don't remember). I've read that one of the primary advantages of TN panels is that they offer better low-light performance, while IPS panels tend to offer better colour accuracy. I usually play in a fairly dimly lit room in the evenings so low-light performance is important, however I'm wondering how much of the "colour experience" I'd be giving up by going for the Samsung display. My only point of reference at the moment is a cheap 1080p 75hz ips monitor so either of these two will be a significant upgrade. I'm not interested in extremely high refresh rates, I just want the monitor to look great. How significant is the difference in colour between the two monitors? Is the low-light performance of the MSI display bad enough to warrant moving over to the TN-panelled Samsung? Any advice/opinions greatly appreciated!
