Hi everyone, I bought a Razer Blade Stealth (2020 model with 1650ti) over a year ago and along the way I bought a Razer Core X in hopes of finding a graphics card to use with it as well as upgraded the 512GB SSD to a 2TB SSD. I've ran into a roadblock where I can't find a graphics card and I don't know whether to just sell my Core X and Razer Blade and get a Razer Blade 14 or 15 (don't know which yet) or to keep waiting for a graphics card. Any advice?

My concern is just being able to get an SSD to put into my Razer Stealth (in case I do sell it) because I would like to keep my 2 TB SSD as well as my lack of knowledge in whether this will be a good move for me. I currently use my laptop as well for work and school, so I'm not sure if the battery life is significantly better or worse (in case I do switch laptops).

Thanks in advance.

I advice against getting another razer laptop as they are quite overpriced compared to others and their quality and longevity have been proven over and over again to be quite bad.

As for gpu you can put almost any card in the core x BUT since that thing runs over thunderbolt 3 a gtx 1650 desktop would basically saturate the bandwith so yeah not great.

In your case I would sell it and get like a asus g14 if you want something light and small but very powerfull. Or if you want amazing value for money a legion 5 amd version is hard to beat.

So that's the thing, I'm not a big fan of the plastic chassis or aggressive gamer aesthetics that most gaming laptops have. Because I take this to work into meetings (in-person) and into class and do video conference meetings I don't want to look weird or out of place in these settings. I was looking at an MSI as well but I'm not really sure, I just want to make sure that whatever I look at checks all the boxes, and has a decent webcam

My legion looks like a normal laptop. Just has the brand on it in letters. Basically as intrusive as the razer logo. G14 same story but it looks even more proffesional because it has a very simple design and a 2 tone back (the rog logo you see in marketing is not present that was only on ONE very specific basically none existant version you can no longer buy anywhere).

So no worries both laptops look sleek and simple but are heaps better. The new g14 and g15 have a rather damn good webcam on them too.
