Laptop isn’t working. Tried shift+control+windows+B

shift+alt+del

The laptop's brightness can be adjusted, mouse curser shows, Can’t access any mouse actions(right click and such), the mouse curser turns into a interact (this makes me think that there’s something that’s still happening, even though there’s a black screen).

Please Help!

Laptop is a HP Pavilion (Not sure what model or hardware it has)

Force shutting down a series of times should force windows into the recovery environment.

From there you can either run windows restore to a restore windows to a previous backup

or run a start repair and see if windows identities any issues that it can fix

Other option will be safe mode. If safe boot boots fine then the issue is caused by some software or driver. Identifying which is the hard part. I would start by disabling any apps that start-up automatically on boot/logging into windows (and uninstall any apps you no longer use). Reboot if still black screen I would uninstall the gpu driver using ddu.

If still black screen then I can only recommend reinstalling windows.
