On work I force dark mode in google chrome. Works on almost all websites while keeping pictures not inverted. Go to chrome://flags

I sit in a fairly dimly lit room, so always prefer dark mode. Easier on the eyes.

Dark mode on my phones to preserve battery life. Also, I like how it looks.

Dark mode isn't suitable for all, for example, people with color blindness. Besides, the option to change the theme isn't all that difficult to get to.

I am getting pretty fucking sick and tired of the "watch something else" responses. It's such a cop out answer because you could say that about basically anything, and it doesn't address the actual complaints. People use it as some kind of card they pull when they can't actually respond to the criticism raised but they still feel like they need to defend some company/person. If you don't like this thread then stop reading it. See how stupid it is? It's basically like telling someone "shut the fuck up". It's not a clever responsive, it doesn't address anything said, and it is rude.

Dark mode is always the way to go (for me). Ever since i started using it on discord, i havent gone back. I really wish every service/website had a dark mode.

Is it not higher contrast? Also then you can change it to light mode later if u want. One thing I heard was have it as default for unregistered users.

Yeah, true but there can be problems with those sometimes (inverted images mostly) which icks me. I have the 'stylus' addon, which allows u to download and make various 'themes' to websites by the css code, which helps, but again theres issues with it (not every web site has a theme). I just wish there was more native dark mode support ya feel?

Completely, I wish images didn’t invert that’s icky, I would just invert my screen if that’s what i wanted.

If you haven't used some browser extensions(E: Seems you have 😛 ), here's a great one. I've used it all the time with minimal issues:

I have a Pentium 4 HT retro gaming system, and I frequently use it for light web browsing. It handles quite well. It's got similar web surfing power to a 2016ish tablet/phone, it's surprisingly capable even though that's def not what it's built for. Picture really doesn't convey how good this CRT is lol

Yeah basically it's a 150 watt Chromebook

I have dark mode set up by default and for most stuff but for this forum I find dark mode looks off so I just leave it on light mode.

Honestly, I like LTTs light mode as its actually usable. At least it doesnt blind my eyes due to half the screen being pure white. Probably why most people use Dark mode on discord instead
