Nebulous idea at best.  Queen's English?  Scot English?  American English?  Australian English?  Canadian English?  Aviation English?

And regionally you have variations in grammar and style.  "Fully proficient" is relative, given that someone from the midwest can go to New England and feel that everyone went full retard on pronunciation.

The best thing I can recommend is reading materials that are of a post-graduate level.  That will help to expand your lexicon and improve your ease of expression.

Thanks. Can you give some examples?

Just watch as much of the animated series The Boondocks on Adult Swim as you can.  You'll sound like a natural in no time.  If you get bored of that, the show Squidbillies on the same network is a good supplement for improved awareness to the Southeastern United States regional dialect.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.
