Hdd to ssd

Yes you can format the c partition of the hdd. Leaving d and e partition as they are.

I just wanna add a new ssd to my old computer so my pc had a ide hdd before now i am adding a 2.5 inch ssd along with old hdd 

 

So i just want my os and all aplications on ssd and all photos and videos on ssd.   

Can i just clone c drive to new ssd (which has os and all software files ) and after cloning just delete old c drive from hdd 

Can i do it pls let me know and also help me how to do it

Yes. You can delete everything from the hdd byy formatting the driver after cloning to ssd.
