download AHCI/RAID drivers and use the install driver button at disk selection

Hey guys,

Built my new PC today but have a slight issue. The SSD shows up in BIOS (under RAID(?)) I have a feeling that could have something to do with it. So now I cant install windows on the disk.

CPU: 12900k

Mobo: Asus Z690-A DDR5

SSD: Samsung 980 PRO heatsink ed

I have had some motherboards with built in RAID functionality that will not pass through the drive to an OS until you configure it in that utility. The way to accomplish that varies from motherboard to motherboard but it's likely going to require you to make a drive array and just stick one drive in it. I have also made windows install media before that's just borked and is missing functionality, you could try remaking your install media if playing with BIOS settings gets you knowhere.
