Yes. It is actually stated in MSI's Product Specifications. See green arrow pointer below.

The 1030 isn't VR ready,

As far as i remember the minimum for VR ready are the GTX 970 and R9 290

The gt 1030 is not officially supported but you can bypass it by using different drivers. The games will run bad with 2gb of vram though.

Jeez, when someone's about to get the fastest gaming GPU at the moment and asks such an obviously newb question, I wonder if OP is either:

1. Balling

2. Complete newb who knows diddly, which raises the question, is this gonna be a prebuild? Or, is it a new DIY? (which raises my eyebrow).

 

I'd advise OP to get a 1200W Gold rated PSU from Corsair, Seasonic, Enermax, etc.....RTX 3090 are known to have crazy high transient power spikes.

i have a 3090 and an 850 w psu, im ocing and getting 400w draw with no problems
