Asrock Polychrome sync not working

Hi.

I just got a new computer with a chieftech hunter case with the pre inbuilt fans, i have a asrock AB350m-HDV motherboard. My problem is that when i try to run Asrock Polychrome sync it loads for a while and then a error message appears: Error0xFFFB There is no Asr graphics card and Asr USB LED Header.

Any ideas on what it means and if i can somehow fix it? I bought the pc pre built so could it be that the rgb hub connector is not connected to the right slot in the motherboard or what could cause this problem?

Asrock Polychrome sync only works with compatible components. Most likely the fans in that case are not compatible with Polychrome sync or it is hooked up incorrectly.

Hi there, 

 

I think, in reading the webinfo at Asrocks site, your board doesn't support Asrock Polychrome. 

Boards that do, have special headers for that.

 

Another thing, the Polychrome Software is kinda buggy. I just build a system with polychrome on a X570 Taichi, and the software did show all options, but didn't see the ram sticks. 

 

The Beta version did help.
