It's a build for my cousin, there's no set budget but I'd like it to be the best bang for the buck while keeping it around this price. One thing it does have to have is wifi, whether it be as a PCIe card or integrated into the motherboard. There's not much space at his place, so I tried to keep it small, but that's a loose requirement.

Even for micro ATX, the Meshify C mini is a bit bulky (barely any smaller than meshify C regular)

Now, the Ryzen 3000 series is slightly slower than 10th gen Intel in gaming, but the choice of an AM4 motherboard gives you the option to upgrade to 5000 series in the future which is a big benefit. Might get a pretty sweet deal on a Ryzen 7 5800X when the 6000 series drops.

I went for a slightly less expensive PSU but kept the full modular (and EVGA warranty service is quite excellent), and went for an M.2 SSD instead of SATA. It was cheaper too. The mobo has built in WiFi as is needed, and I chose a fairly compact case (I've used it for a couple builds and it's pretty nice for the price)

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

The Meshify C Mini comes with 2 stock fans, no need for more. Check local availability and pricing for the i5-12500 and i5-12600. You might be able to squeeze slightly higher performance into the budget.

Be advised: the 6600 is a PCIe 4.0x8 card, but 10th gen Intel only supports PCIe 3.0. That means you'll be limited to PCIe 3.0x8 on the GPU. That won't necessarily matter in every game, but there are situations where you will be leaving performance on the table. You should get 11th gen (with 500 series board) or 12th gen Intel or Ryzen.

You don't really need to populate all the fan positions. The meshify only needs 1 extra fan for good airflow.

Nicer motherboard that can support higher end CPU's easily. For B560, the top m.2 slot is not supported for 10th gen. If you're cousin plans to put multiple m.2 drive, it might be worth considering going for the B460 version instead.

Changed to a NVME SSD with dram cache for about same price as the SATA one you had.

Smaller PSU for easier cable management.

RTX 3050 is an alternative, the rx 6600 is decent as well.

figured I might as well get the rx 6600 for basically the same price.
