I’m currently choosing between

i5-12400F/i5-12600KF/I7-12700F.

I have a budget of 1000$ just for 4 parts. CPU,MOTHERBOARD,RAM,M.2

Z boards are too pricey here in PH so I’m opting to go for I7-12700F+B660 or I5-12600KF+Z690 DDR4?

DDR4 or DDR5?

Suggest some M.2 also thanks 🙏

This all the way, especially if you wait like a month for the rumored B660 DDR4 board that supports BCLK overclocking on the non-K CPUs.

Unless you do something that really needs the memory bandwidth, the performance difference between DDR4 and DDR5 does not justify the price difference. Unless you get a 2x16GB kit of DDR5 for cheap, don't bother going for DDR5.

Crucial P5, WD SN750, Samsung 970 Evo (Plus) are all great drives, pick the capacity you want and go for whichever is cheapest. There are more good drives, I just haven't really cared enough to learn all the different model numbers of all the really good drives, and these are the ones that I have.

Is ASUS STRIX B660A DDR4 not good?

It's really expensive for what you get. It doesn't have BCLK overclocking like the Strix B660-G and B660-F, and for the most part doesn't really do much more than any of the cheaper B660/H670 boards like the H670 Prime D4. If you want to overclock, wait for a B660 board with a clock gen, there are some that are supposedly in production, but they aren't out yet and it doesn't really make much sense to buy a board that usually costs as much as some lower end Z690 boards.

Try like 12600KF and MSI Z690 Pro DDR 4 board .I'd go for it.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

Z boards here are quite overprice. So I like to stay away from them. And I don’t like to do overclock. I just want to plug and play. Btw sir, I decided I will go with i7-12700F+B660 MOBO, GTX 1060 6GB, 1tb m.2+250ssd+1tbHDD, NZXT Kraken X62 from my old setup, +2 120mm Fans + RGB Strips. Is my old Seasonic S12 620W 80+ Bronze good enough?
