Ram upgrade

I checked my module of ram and ordered the same module online and I'm thinking now that will it work with the previous ram which is same?

The ram should be ok as long as it is the exact same latency, speed, capacity and timings. Is there a specific problem or are you just trying to upgrade?

RAM that's not bought as a matched kit are not guaranteed to work together properly.

 

What's the brand and model of the RAM?

What motherboard and CPU is it for?
