Why does does the transfer speed decrease?

You're always going to be limited by the slowest drive you are reading from or writing to, which in this case would be the HDD. 145MB/s seems about what you would get for a HDD write speed. The faster bit at the start would be when it is being cached.

Hey guys, why does my transfer speed decrease when I'm copying files and all?

Btw, moving from an SSD to a HDD.

Also how can I solve it?

I really hate this as i transfer a large amount of files which are in themselves large.

What HDD model is it and how much data are you transferring at a time? Larger files or small ones (images)?

its probably when the dram chache on the ssd runs out

Ah okay, makes sense.

Got any recommendations on M.2 SSD's maybe?

Not really, cache is standardly 1gb per tb of storage iirc, it doesn’t really get bigger without a bigger drive
