parts list for gaming/streaming (recommendations/advice wanted)

KJS

Budget (including currency): £700

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: streaming on twitch, overwatch

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Upgrading from a non gaming laptop

The peripherals are already taken care off

I want to be able to play at 1080p 60fps

Probably going to buy over the next year like 5 - 6 months time

Questions:

- is this a balanced build?

- has anyone heard of the PSU brand and are they any good?

850W PSU is kind of overkill for this system. BUT if you do 850W you could get a 3000 series GPU later and not worry about upgrading a GPU. Though if you don't think you will get a 3000 series GPU any time soon a 550 or 650 would still be plenty. Check the manufacturer of the GPU and see what SPEC of PSU they recommend. That's always a good place to start.

Also I see you only have an M.2 for storage. Are you going to add a hard drive? 500 gigs isn't much for storage

I only went for an M.2 instead of a HDD because I wanted it to have portability and not have to worry about the effects that can have on a HDD

What about adding an SSD? 1tb should be around 100 or less

I took this into consideration and arrived at a crucial MX500 1TB but this would be instead of the M.2 to keep the price down is it a worthy replacement?
