So currently i have a Ryzen 3 3200g overclocked to 3,85ghz and 1600mhz (IGPU), using the onboard graphics because of the gpu shortages at the moment, I was thinking of buying a new GT 1030 for £120 (around $160), i know that i could just buy like a used Gpu on Ebay, but parents wont let me, even if i beg. Would i be better off using the onboard graphics or should i buy the gt 1030?

$160 is a bit excessive for a card that old, I recommend saving for maybe an RX 570/580 or a GTX 970/980. However, if you do want to have something now, then as long as you don't get the DDR4 version it will probably be better than an iGPU.

You might want to consider getting a 5600G, if your motherboard supports it. Would also help you later, if you can hold on a GPU that does not cost a 10 year salary of a chinese factory worker.
