Hitfilm Express perhaps? Or if you aren't picky about exporting settings, Windows Photos is very basic editor.

 

Other notable ones are Kdenlive, Shotcut, Openshot and DaVinci Resolve. There's also Blender Video Sequence Editor with very steep learning curve.

Hey everyone,

 

I'm a coach at my local high school and was trying to find an easy to use free video editing app to be able to throw some highlights together for my game recordings. Does anyone have any indications of free and easy to use video editing software?

 

I've tried to download lightworks but couldn't find the free version.

You're the best!!! Windows Photos is exactly what I needed! Thanks, I should be able to create some highlights for my team now! Hopefully it'll help them with their chances in the future.
