why are we talking about 295's and titan z's when there are quadros and firepros? isn't he going to be modelling not gaming.

i don't see nothing wrong on get two z (if he can buy it)

 

it will help a lot him on the work (having that power)
 
the real question is... with component we use to accompany that ?
 
(and how much performance will be lose on the gaming scaling with two z)

CPU = A10 6800K (@4.3Ghz) / GPU = HD 8670D (@844mhz/ram@1866mhz) - 2016 ≠ Dual Cores - why learn Linux ? - OLD intel x4 cpu (Q6600) + amd HD 7950 - this is what i think on watts x dollar cost - CPU "bottlenecks" only start to show "at the super high end cards" (like the 390) if you have a 4 cores CPU

Yeah, because AMD gets lower KH/s and also their processors suck at editing compared to Intel.

I think (and hope) you're kidding but I'm not sure.

The 295X2 has 11.5TFLOPS compared to 8TFLOPS TitanZ

Fair enough. I didn't realize that they were underclocked. I would almost always recommend the titan blacks in SLI over the titan-z, it's just he said money's no object so I thought it might be quieter for the same performance, assuming he didn't want to mess with water cooling. If he doesn't mind it, then for sure single cards under water would be best. 

Yeh nvdia stated somewhere in the 800mhz range.ALso he lives in dubai he should be watercooling even if its just throwing a g10 on with a CLC.
