z690 New build Issues

Literally just built a z690 platform with the gigabyte aorus elite ddr4 and 12700k. I have two issues and I'm unsure whether they're linked. I cannot get the 2.5gb ethernet to detect my cable. I've tried every driver I can find and done every update available but still not detected. Second issue is my h150i elite capellix is flashing red with fans at 100% and saying "pump faliure" in ICUE. The confusing part is that the CPU temp is 20*C so I presume the pump must be running although i cant obviously feel or hear it. Is this a motherboard issue or are they both failing?
