Is a GT710 2gb ddr3 and a AMD athlon x2 250 a good pair or will i experience a bottleneck?

You have flawed understanding of "bottleneck". There is also always a bottleneck in any system, bottlenecks are only a problem when they are on the extreme ends. In your case, in most games you will be GPU limited, in other cases you will be CPU limited.

Youll get garbage performance anyways but most likely gpu bottleneck cause that athlon prob performs similarly to a c2d

For what? Gaming? mspaint? For a basic word procesing and some low quality video playback machine it should be barely acceptable. It wont be a smooth experience at all whatever you do.

I used to have that same cpu and at the time of release was a very good budget cpu (cost me £40 at the time new), used it for many years and I shelved it about 6 years ago when I upgraded to a fx4350 and asrock extreme pro mb.
Was a massive upgrade!!!!
I still use the gfx card that I brought bout 8 years ago and used with the x2 250.
Hd 5870 with custom artic twin acerrlo cooler i got off ebay £46. Its a proper boster of a card if you ain't pixel hungry .
The gt710 is a pile of shite from what Ive heard, my 1 gig ddr5 12/13 year old card would easy out perform it except in newer games which no longer provides drivers :(, everything that's labelled gt is not a gaming card, they are low powered versions, the gtx is for gamers
Im still using my hd5870 but upgraded whole pc few months ago to a i7 4790k/ asus z97-k/ 4x4gb matched vengeance ram (£123 bundle) off ebay and that is massive upgrade over my 4350 build. Slapped on my old trusty frio twin 120mm cpu cooler i used on my fx 4350 and it runs sweet as a nut!
I'm not a massive gamer and only play old skool games (mainly Total war games :P) but I think your gonna have a horrible time with that setup in 2022 man
I used a cit sauron case £40, can fit 8x120mm fans, my old skool case was antec 900 and I think much better case for airflow

I still got my chip and board in box (digs it out, not seen her in long time :O, man I miss you, 'do you really' No but we did have some real good times together :), motherboard was (asrock n68c-s ucc) which was pretty sick at the time 2xddr2 or 2xddr3 1600mhz, it was on the crossover, we talking fecking years ago man with 2x2 gb enhance corsa geil ram.

Found the manual for the antec 900 gaming case I brought when I built this :O, cost me £110 lol, it was the dogs bollocks though at the time the whole build cost me somewhere around £330 about 12 years ago.
